Sending Amber to camp
« on: July 24, 2017, 03:17:17 pm »
*Sitting on the couch using my laptop I look for camps for girls that build self confidence and teach girls how to do for themselves and learn on their own*

Clicks on the camp that is called girls rock

Description reads:
Girls rock is a camp for little girls aged 4-9. The goal of these week long camp is to provide our young girls the chance to understand their full potential and learn that no one is above them or below them everyone is the same and no one can tell them what they can or can not do. Our girls will learn the importance of sticking up for themselves and the importance of speaking their mind in a respectful way and actually sticking too what they say and what they want to do. We will teach the girls not to let others push them around and to stand up for what they believe in. Girls will learn new skills each day and build self confidence and self assurance. Our job focuses on children that have been in abuse situations and they don't understand how to stand up for themselves. The girls will be put in different situations giving them the opportunity to not be pushed around and to stand up for themselves. They will. Ever know when different situation will occur but we will be watching and when the scenario plays out we will then go back and teach the child what they did should have done and what they can do better. This gives the golden opportunity for the girls to build up their confidence so even when they leave the camp they can continue on standing up for themselves the rest of their lives. Here they learn that all girls rock and that they are important.

After reading I go ahead and enroll amber*
